Building our first home has been one of the biggest milestones of our lives, and doing it while living interstate naturally comes with stress, pressure, and plenty of worries. However, our journey with Weeks Homes has been nothing short of exceptional from start to where we are now in construction. 

Pre-Construction Phase:

Our experience started with Glenn and Simran during the early planning stage. As first-time builders, we had so many ideas, questions, and uncertainties. Glenn and Simran where incredibly patient and supportive while helping us select the right floorplan that suited our lifestyle and future needs. They listened carefully to what we envisioned and did their very best to accommodate our requests wherever possible. We never felt rushed or pressured - instead, we felt genuinely guided. 

During the pre-construction stage, Ellie, our Project Delivery Specialist, was absolutely outstanding. She guided us through every single question we had in mind - and there were many! Her communication via phone and email was excellent. Living interstate meant we relied heavily on updates and clarity, and Ellie ensured everything stayed on track. She kept us thoroughly informed throughout the entire process, explaining documentation, timelines, and next steps in a way that made everything easy to understand. Her organisation and responsiveness truly gave us confidence that our build was progressing smoothly even from afar. 

Following that, we had our selections appointment at MyChoice Studio. This was one of the most exciting parts of the journey. Karly provided exceptional expertise in helping us make decisions that reflected not only our preferences but also what we truly envisioned in our hearts and minds. She has a remarkable ability to understand our style and translate it into practical, beautiful choices for our home. The entire experience was enjoyable, inspiring, and far less overwhelming than we expected thanks to her guidance. 

Construction Phase:

Now in the construction stage, our positive experience has only continued. 

Being interstate during construction can be nerve-wracking. The stress, pressure and worry are very real - especially for first-time builders. However, this was not the case for us at all. From the moment construction commenced, we felt reassured and confident. 

Our site supervisor, Gian, has been exceptional. Trust is everything when you are not physically present at the build site, and from day one, he has made us feel that we can trust him completely. He consistently reassures us that the project is progressing exactly as it should and that everything is being completed according to the plans we agreed upon with Weeks Homes. 

Our first site visit was truly wonderful. Seeing our home coming to life was emotional and exciting. Our site supervisor walked us through the entire build, explaining each completed stage clearly and confirming that everything aligned with the approved plans. He took the time to explain the overall progress and informed us that the next stage would be waterproofing. His knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail were evident throughout the walkthrough. 

Most importantly, he made us feel that we are in good hands. That level of reassurance means so much to us, especially being interstate. Communication has remained consistent, updates are clear, and we feel involved every step of the way despite the distance.

Overall Experience: 

We are extremely happy with all the services provided by Weeks Homes. From pre-construction planning, selections, and documentation, engineering, through to the current construction stage, every team member we have dealt with has been professional, supportive, and genuinely committed to delivering quality service.

For a first-time build - and an interstate one at that - the experience has been smooth, well-managed, and reassuring. Their service is truly commendable. 

If we ever have the opportunity to build again, there we be no questions asked - it would absolutely be Weeks Homes again.
