Weeks Homes commitment to the community is realised through numerous charitable projects that provide our team an opportunity to give back and understand the power of humility. With the support of the NEX Charitable Foundation, each year Weeks Homes places extensive effort into fundraising for our nominated charities. NEX Charitable Foundation is a registered charity that allocates funding to selected charitable organisations across Australia via each of the group’s brands including Weeks Homes. Its mission; “To build stronger communities and a better tomorrow”.

Over the years we have supported numerous South Australian Charities and worked across a number of life changing projects.

Our most recent project to change the lives of South Australian’s in need saw our trades, suppliers and Weeks Homes come together with The Advertiser Kids Foundation and Villawood Properties to raise over $900,000.00.

The Good Home House & Land Auction results were outstanding with a lucky buyer walking away with the three-bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom terrace home in Villawood’s new Oakden Rise estate near the Adelaide CBD with 100% of proceeds going to a number of South Australian Kids Charities.

Weeks Homes donated the home in its entirety, and a donation of this enormity would simply not be possible without the support of our valued trades and suppliers. None of them have been asked twice, providing enormous levels of support and donation of materials, labour and product when asked.

All proceeds reached the following charities: Backpacks 4 SA Kids, Sammy D Foundation, Kickstart for kids, Women’s and Children’s Hospital Foundation Emergency Support Program & Childhood Cancer Association.

Variety supports kids and families who are facing many challenges through sickness, disadvantage or living with disability.

We kicked off the partnership in 2025 with a $40, 000 donation to assist the charity in continuing their invaluable work.

However, knowing the value community engagement brings our team, our alignment with Variety SA goes far beyond financial donations. Variety has allowed us to be part of a number of projects and exposed us to even wider opportunities for further community connection. Our team have been given the opportunity to put their hand up for a number of volunteer events held throughout the year, with nothing more to gain than the joy that giving back brings.

In addition to volunteering, we hold many team building events in the business in order to grow meaningful connection, with a regular one being our flat pack challenges. Building a flat pack requires patience, team work and lets be honest, more patience! What better way to build team connection. A quick call to Variety found homes for brand new furniture sets within hours, always landing with those kids who need it most.
