The Complete by Weeks building process.

When you buy with Complete by Weeks, you’ll get a smooth and enjoyable buying experience so you can move into your new home sooner.

We will give you guidance and clarity throughout the entire process, from working with you on your ideal location, to helping you select the perfect home for your lifestyle, and then finally, handing over the keys to your brand-new Complete home. 

With Complete, we cover everything off...from finding the land, building the house and even putting in the lawn, you'll skip all the phases of the build and move straight to 'keys in hand', so you can start living sooner. When we say complete, we're not kidding! 

Here's what happens, stage by stage -

Stage 1 - Pre-Purchase / Purchase

  • Meet sales agent - review home available
  • Walkthrough of a complete homes
  • Provide finance pre-approved letter
  • Provide proof of identity

Stage 2 - Contracts / Balance of Deposit / Finance

Contracts

  • Contract sent via DocuSign
  • Option to sign "subject to finance" (21 days approval window)
  • Executed contract copy emailed to all parties
  • Provide contract to your bank/broker for unconditional finance approval

 

Balance of Deposit

  • Pay $20,000 deposit - into sales agent's trust account
  • Receive deposit receipt

 

Finance Approval

  • Certificate of Occupancy (COO) issued
  • Keep your sales agent updated with finance progress
  • Provide unconditional finance approval

Stage 3 - Construction Process

  • Home design, colours, permits already finalised by Complete Homes team
  • One contract, no progress payment
  • Approximate completion date as per your contract
  • Sales agent will stay in touch for updates
  • Site access only with authorised representative

Stage 4 - Completion / Settlement & Handover

Preparation

  • Project Delivery Specialist contacts you as home nears completion
  • Finalise finances + bank valuation (via sales agent)
  • Certificate of Occupancy issued to your conveyancer
  • Standard settlement term + 30 days (or agreed date as per your contract)

 

Pre-Settlement Inspection & Handover

  • Pre-Settlement Inspection with Site Manager
  • Agreed defect items recorded - rectified - re-inspection in 2 weeks at your handover appointment
  • Settlement and Handover - Electronic settlement - Inspection with Site Manager - sign-off on items rectified
  • Key handover

Stage 5 - Post-Settlement / Maintenance

  • Site Manager will be available to contact for the first 2 weeks for any queries
  • Home Care team sends through welcome email (1 week after settlement)

 

Urgent Maintenance

  • Emergency repairs handled by Home Care Team
  • Urgent = any fault causing harm/ risk
  • Call 1800 493 357 (available during & after hours)
  • Contractor attends within 24 hrs for genuine urgent issues
  • Non-urgent callouts outside hours - charged 
  • Standard maintenance handled at 3 month inspection

 

90 Day Defect Liability Period

  • Team contacts you to book inspection
  • Email list of items - inspection can take ~2hrs
